Thanks for dropping by the WB7EUX web site. I live in northeastern Oregon at the foot of the Wallowa Mountains and the Eagle Cap Wilderness.
Our elevation of 4200 feet gives us a mostly temperate climate with cool nights and not overly hot days even during the middle of the summer. Fall and spring are generally extended with beautiful colors and snow covered mountains. Depending on the amount of snow the mountains receive and the type of weather we have it is not unusual to have snow carry through from winter to winter.
I am fortunate to live on about four acres. This allows me to construct pretty much any antenna system I want restricted only by my wallet. The neighbors seem to appeciate that there is a ham in the neighborhood with the ability to communicate around the world and the country without the benefit of telephone. We have been cut off from the outside world on occasion both by fiber optic cuts and landslides.
Please look around the various pages I have in the menu. I try to keep the menu updated with events that I am interested in. Primarily this is the SKCC K3Y month long event in January.
